Peloton has performed another round of class library maintenance this week, and unfortunately, it continues the pattern from last week. On December 22, 2023, Peloton purged the majority of classes that were filmed from October 16 – 25, 2020.
This resulted in just under 200 classes being removed, and was around 10 days worth of classes. This is around the same number that was purged during last week’s class library maintenance that removed around 200 classes over 9 days.
In the prior weeks, Peloton had been removing around 4 days worth of classes each week – following much bigger purges this summer. It wasn’t clear after last week whether the 9 days last week was possibly an exception due to the holidays. However, after this week’s purge removed around 10 days worth of classes, it appears Peloton might be increasing the speed of purges again.
Of course, Peloton doesn’t publish ahead of time how many classes they will be purging, so the rate could speed up or slow down any week.
One bit of good news for members is that one class that had been purged for several weeks was quietly restored. Earlier this week, Camila Ramon’s 60 min Reggaeton ride (her only 60 min ride in the library) was added back to the library after having been previously purged.
While around 200 classes were removed during this week’s purge, around 30 classes were saved. This included power zone rides, artist series classes, and a few other random classes throughout this time frame.

- Irene Kaymer – 20 min Beginner Ride [German] – 10/16/20 @ 12:00pm ET
- Matt Wilpers – 60 min Power Zone Ride – 10/17/20 @ 8:00am ET
- Irene Kaymer – 15 min HIIT Ride [German] – 10/17/20 @ 1:00pm ET
- Ally Love – 30 min Sundays With Love – 10/18/20 @ 12:00pm ET
- Emma Lovewell – 60 min Groove Ride – 10/28/20 @ 1:30pm ET
- Anna Greenberg – 75 min Yoga Flow – 10/19/20 @ 10:00am ET
