Peloton Class Guide

Peloton Workout & Music Guide

As Peloton has grown exponentially over the last few years, one of their focuses has been on creating unique content and workout experiences. They have tried to do this in a couple of different ways: workouts centered around certain bands or themes, special weekly series led by one instructor, and through workouts coached by multiple instructors, and more.

Peloton Special Interest & Themed Class Series

Peloton will have recurring topics for their classes, or hold several classes around one theme. These have included classes for Broadway classes, Disney classes, Hamilton, Holidays (Halloween/Christmas/Thanksgiving, etc), Father's Day, Mother's Day, Black History Month, Mental Health Classes, Pride Classes, Pre & Postnatal classes, and much more. You can find a list of these Peloton special interest class series here.

Signature Peloton Series & Speciality Themed Shows

Another focus area for Peloton at the end of 2019 and beginning of 2020 has been around new weekly, or signature series for certain instructors. The goal seems to be to make the focus of these rides less about the music & playlist, and more about the instructor personalities themselves with these themed workouts. Some of the specialty shows include "The Jess King Experience", "Sundays with Love", and "XOXO, Cody". An updated list of all these speciality series, as well as the workouts included in them, can be found here.

Peloton Badges & Special Awards & Classes that earn them

Peloton creates special badges that members can earn for taking certain classes. These then show up on your profile, and are just a fun way of awarding members for taking certain classes. These have ranged from special badges for the holidays, Black History Month celebration, certain signature series. There are dozens of them - check out the full list of badges Peloton has and which classes to take to earn them here.

Featured Artist Series Workouts

Peloton has started a series they are calling the "Featured Artist Series", where the entire ride, run, or yoga workout features the music of one band or musician. They have included bands like Red Hot Chili Peppers, Billy Joel, Paul McCartney, Lizzo, Billie Eilish, and many many more. You can find a running list of all of these Peloton workouts featuring one band here.

Peloton Training Programs

Peloton has thousands of classes - it's sometimes hard to know what order to take them in. To help with that, Peloton has created a number of training programs. These multi-week programs lead you to different goals - whether it's training for a 5K, a marathon, power zones, beginner cycling, yoga, or strength, there are a number of different plans targeting different training plans. You can find a list of programs here.

Peloton Workouts with Multiple Instructors (Two for One or Dual Instructors)

One other unique bit of content Peloton has begun to create on a regular basis has been workouts featuring two instructors coaching the same workout. Jess & Robin had a few rides like this (The "Bad Girls" rides) a few years ago, and the annual 4th of July "All for One" rides would feature most of the coaching staff. However, 2020 has seen Peloton beginning to create these on a fairly regular basis, so these workouts appear to be here to stay. Check out the full list of Peloton workouts with multiple instructors here.

The original music & artist search has been removed at the request of Peloton. We hope to add this feature back one day. In the meantime, you can search for artists & songs on your Peloton Bike or Tread.
