Weekly Class Purge: Peloton Classes From February 5-19, 2020 Removed from the On-Demand Library on August 25, 2023

Another round of Peloton’s ongoing class library maintenance was performed on August 25, 2023. This round saw the removal of classes filmed between February 5–19, 2020 – exactly two weeks of content.

40 classes were spared from the purge this week – the highest number of classes exempted since class library maintenance began earlier this year. As per usual, special themed classes, artist series, and signature instructor series – such as Sundays with Love and XOXO, Cody – continue to make the cut. In addition, Peloton is continuing to preserve a number of Power Zone Rides. Finally, many sleep meditations were saved, most of them from Peloton’s Power of Sleep program.

Some standalone classes not tied to a program or collection were also spared, such as a Marathon Race Prep Run with Matt Wilpers and a seemingly random Intervals & Arms Ride with Cody Rigsby. Interestingly, Peloton is continuing to preserve some classes taught by Irene Scholz, an instructor who is no longer with the company.
