Weekly Class Purge: Peloton Classes From September 25 – 28, 2020 Removed from the On-Demand Library on November 24, 2023

For the third week in a row, Peloton has only purged 5 days or less of classes in their weekly Peloton class library maintenance.

On November 24, 2023 – Peloton removed the majority of classes filmed on the four days from September 25-28, 2020. This resulted in the removal of around 80 classes from the Peloton on-demand library.

This continues the trend of purges getting smaller and smaller. The Peloton class purge last week was only four days of classes, and the the week before that was five days worth of classes.

This is in contrast to earlier purges over the summer and early fall, when purges were anywhere from 2-4 weeks each.

Although the length of time is getting shorter, the types of class being purged (and saved) remain the same, with speciality classes, artist series, power zone rides, and more being kept.

The speciality & artist series classes saved in this round were:

As has been the case with some other purges, a handful of other classes that don’t fall into the typical formula were saved as well. A 45 min Tread Bootcamp with Andy Speer from 9/28/20 @ 7:00pm ET was spared. In addition, a few German-language classes from Irene Scholz were saved as well.

Class library maintenance is Peloton’s removal of older classes from the on demand library, which has been taking place nearly weekly on Fridays since April of 2023.
