Another Friday has passed, and with that, another round of class library maintenance has taken place. Another 2 weeks worth of Peloton classes were removed on Friday, May 19, 2023.
However, this round of Peloton class purges worked slightly different than expected.
The oldest block of classes in the on-demand library were from previously May 16-31, 2019 – and as previous weeks had seen the oldest blocks of classes removed (purges have taken place on May 12, May 5, and April 28 ), it was expected that would be the block of classes removed.
However, the majority of Peloton classes from May 16 – 31, 2019 are still available today.
Instead, Peloton removed classes between the time period of June 1 – 16, 2019.
The one exception to this, and the only class that was not removed, was Ally Love’s Cher ride from June 13, 2019.
It is not clear why Peloton left the batch of classes from May 16 – 31, 2019 as being still available, but instead removed classes from June 1 – 16, 2019.
However, given Ally Love’s Cher ride was kept, it seems more likely that Cody Rigsby’s Backstreet Boys Ride from May 17th, 2019 will be kept when the rest of the classes from May 16 – 31, 2019 are removed.
We will be sure to share updates in the coming weeks on future class purges & class library maintenance rounds.

I really hope they do not remove Christian Vande Velde’s rides, especially the Planche des Belle Filles climb from June 19th of 2019.
