Peloton has officially unveiled Club Peloton, a new loyalty and recognition program designed to reward Members for showing up, staying consistent, and engaging with the community.
In case you missed it, on October 1 Peloton made a number of announcements centering around their upgraded “Cross Training” hardware devices, Peloton IQ, a subscription price increase, and their new loyalty program.
The rollout follows last month’s Peloton’s past hints about gamification and loyalty, which we previously reported were on the way.
What is Club Peloton
Peloton describes the Club Peloton program as a way to “recognize and celebrate Members” for their activity and dedication, whether they are logging their very first workout or hitting a major milestone.

At its core, Club Peloton is built around points, levels, and rewards, as outlined below:
- Points: Members earn points for workout days, streaks, milestones, programs, challenges, and community interactions. Importantly, points aren’t tied to leaderboard output; but rather, they reflect consistency and engagement rather than performance.
- Levels: as points accumulate, Members move through tiers ranging from “Bronze” all the way to “Legend.”
- Rewards: advancing through levels unlocks badges, early access to challenges or classes, apparel discounts, exclusive event invitations, and even instructor shoutouts.
How Do I Join Club Peloton
Members do not need to do anything to opt into Club Peloton – they are automatically granted access into the program based on their existing membership.

New members will automatically be part of it when they join as well.
How To Find Club Peloton
The new program is slowly rolling out to members, so not everyone may have it yet.

To find Club Peloton in the Peloton app, click on the “You” tab on the bottom right of your app. Then, if Club Peloton is active for you, you should see a diamond, or gem of some sort, shown over your profile picture in the top left. Press that, and then, you should have the option to navigate to your Club Peloton.
Club Peloton is also available through the Peloton hardware devices. You can find it by going to your Profile section on your tablet, and you’ll find Club Peloton there.
Once enabled, members should also have a new option in their Settings area of the app to “Hide My Club Peloton Level” This will make it so their Club Peloton information is only visible for themselves.

How To Earn Points with Club Peloton
There are a wide variety of ways to earn points in Club Peloton, such as:
- Workout Days: 2 points for each day the member takes a Peloton class (whether through the digital app, hardware device, or Strength+ app).
- Streaks: earn points equal to the weekly streak length (i.e. 3 points for a 3 week streak) and double points for annual streaks (for example, a 52-week streak earns 104 points).
- Milestones: Points equal to the member’s milestone count, with bonuses for branching into multiple modalities (10% boost for milestone in second activity, and 20% boost for third or more). For example, if you stick solely to cycling, your 50 Rides Milestone will earn you 50 points. Add strength training into the mix, and your 50 Strength Workouts Milestone bumps up to 55 points. Expand even further into yoga, and your 50 Yoga Workouts Milestone will net you 60 points.
- Progress: earn points for completing programs, personalized plans, and challenges. You earn 2 points for each week of a program, 1 point per week for doing a personalized training plan, and 10 points for each challenge you do.
- Community: encourages members to stay connected by sending high fives, joining live classes, and engaging in Teams. You can earn 1 point per week for each of those activities.
Peloton notes that points update almost instantly after qualifying activities and do not expire as long as a Member’s subscription remains active.

What are the perks and rewards of Club Peloton
The higher the Club level achieved, the more recognition and perks members have access to. Possible perks Peloton has teased includes:
- Early access to certain challenges and on-demand classes

It remains to be seen how some of these rewards are implemented in practice.

Points and levels are just for recognition – they do not have cash value or guarantee specific rewards. Perks like discounts, invitations, or special surprises are bonuses that Peloton may update or change at any time.

For years, Peloton has leaned heavily on community engagement and gamified motivation like streaks, milestones, and the Leaderboard. Club Peloton builds on that foundation, adding a structured recognition system that aims to keep Members motivated while rewarding long-term consistency.
As Peloton continues to explore new strategies to boost retention and engagement, Club Peloton could play a major role. With badges, perks, and a clear path to “Legend” status, the program aims to creates a new layer of motivation.

The question I have that I cannot find answered anywhere – is whether the points are for a lifetime of activity or for like a year? It says in your post they never expire…but when it was activated for me, I am already at legend. I am certainly not going to alter what I do, but does that mean I’m just always at legend? Hmmm.
Thanks!
