Peloton's "Run + Flow" class collection with Mariana Fernandez

New “Run + Flow” Series & Collection with Mariana Fernández (Running & Yoga Tread Bootcamp)

Mariana Fernández has a new Tread Bootcamp class series called “Run + Flow.” In this series, Mariana incorporates both running and yoga within each 45 minute class to foster a mind-body connection to ultimately improve members’ running and recovery.

This will be a four-class series. Classes have been released directly on demand every two weeks starting on June 5, 2026. The fourth and final class will be on demand on July 17 at 12 AM ET.

You can find the Run + Flow classes in the Tread Bootcamp class category and also in their own class collection. As the collection describes:

“Pair the power of running with the restorative benefits of yoga in new Run + Flow classes with Mariana. In each workout, you’ll build strength, improve mobility, and support recovery so you can keep moving for years to come.”

In Mariana’s announcement of her new class series, she explained how she came to create this class style as a runner of 30+ years and the overall intent behind it:

“These classes will take your right from your run directly into your recovery flow all in one. We’re gonna get our miles on the Tread first, then we take our sneakers off and head directly to the mat where we build a flow together. This is how I’ve been training for years and years, and I found it to be the ultimate training routine to keep your body moving.
Over these four classes, we’ll tackle miles, improve our mind-body connection, and learn recovery tips you can easily bring into your weekly training. And for someone who might not think that yoga is for them, we’re going to start from the basics and build from there.”

So far, the first three classes of the series are structured differently to incorporate running and yoga together in different combinations.

Format of Class 1: 6/5/26

  • 5 min warmup (Tread)
  • 23 min run (endurance, moderate pace)
  • 1 min cool down (Tread)
  • 1 min transition
  • 15 min yoga flow

Format of Class 2: 6/19/26

  • 4 min warmup (Tread)
  • 20 min run (intervals)
  • 1 min cool down (Tread)
  • 1 min transition
  • 20 min yoga flow

Format of Class 3: 7/3/26

  • 6 min warmup (mat)
  • 2 min warmup (Tread)
  • 20 min run (intervals)
  • 19 min yoga flow

As you can see from the class formats, the first class eases the member into both the run and the yoga flow, with the run being an endurance run at moderate pace and the yoga section essentially serving as a deep post-run recovery stretch. For runners who are new to yoga, Mariana goes over some basic yoga poses with detailed instruction and modification options.

Mariana also shared more on the impetus behind the Run + Flow series in class 1 and what members can expect to get from it:

“This series, this class type that I have been working for the last five years to bring to the platform, to see how you can take care of your body while you run and then immediately after.
One of the key learning tools we’ll be talking about is proprioception, your body moving in space. So whether it’s a running cue, you’re on your mat, how do we become aware of how our body’s moving? And it becomes this really beautiful connection to yourself. It’s kept me injury-free, it’s kept me mobile, healthy. So I want to share and impart that with you to see if you can use it as part of your training plan.”

The second class has a shorter run that is intervals-based, followed by a longer flow. In both sections, Mariana encourages the focus to be using your breath as a tool, how your breath helps you through tough run intervals, and how it helps you deepen into your yoga poses to release and recover.

Class 3 begins by using yoga as a targeted muscle activation to warm up prior to your run. This class is another intervals run and concludes with a second yoga flow.

The fourth class drops on July 17, but the format has not yet been revealed.

Have you taken a Run + Flow yoga class with Mariana Fernandez? What do you think of combining running and yoga together?
