With the year coming to an end, Peloton’s weekly purges (or “class library maintenance”) seem to have settled in to a new rhythm of removing around 4 days worth of classes every week. This week’s purge was the fourth week in a row where 4 days of Peloton classes were removed from the on-demand library.
Peloton classes originally filmed between September 29 – October 2, 2020 were removed from the on-demand library on December 1, 2023. This resulted in the removal of around 80 classes from the Peloton library this week.
As has been the case in all previous purges, power zone classes, along with artist series and speciality themed classes were saved. In addition, this week saw an unusually higher number of “other” classes saved as well.
The speciality & artist series classes saved in this round were:
- Power Zone Classes
- Jennifer Lopez artist series
- LHM Celebration classes
- Jess King’s Premiere Run
In addition to these, a variety of “other” classes were saved as well. Some are longer classes, which Peloton has been known to save from time to time. There is also a group of classes from Irene Kaymer (Irene Scholz), which could be related to the fact it was recently announced Irene would be returning to Peloton.

Class library maintenance is Peloton’s removal of older classes from the on demand library, which has been taking place nearly weekly on Fridays since April of 2023.
