Weekly Class Purge: Peloton Removes Classes Filmed Between September 3-20, 2019 on June 23, 2023

Around another three weeks’ worth of classes were removed on June 23, 2023 as part of Peloton’s ongoing class library maintenance. Classes filmed between September 3 through September 20, 2019 were removed from the on-demand library.

Only three classes were spared during this round, two from an artist series and one an instructor premiere ride:

Members may recall that Kendall Toole and Tunde Oyeneyin had their premiere rides in the same week (they were both announced as new instructors on September 10, 2019, but only Kendall’s remains on demand. We believe that Tunde’s premiere ride was removed during the massive purge last December when Peloton removed all classes with songs from Kanye West.

This is the fifth week in a row Peloton has removed a minimum of three weeks’ worth of classes. Class library maintenance is Peloton’s removal of older classes from the on demand library that are now taking place more routinely on Friday, as announced in April of 2023. Purges have occurred on April 28, May 5, May 12, May 19, May 26, June 2, June 9, and June 16, and today.
