Peloton performed a new round of class library maintenance on September 1, 2023, resulting in the removal of classes filmed between February 20 and March 8, 2020 – slightly more than two weeks’ worth of content.
This purge again took place on the earlier side of Friday, happening at approximately 10:00–11:00am ET.
Note that one of the classes removed was pro cyclist Christian Vande Velde’s last remaining ride on the platform, meaning that there are no longer any classes available with him.
29 classes were saved and remain in the on–demand library. Artist series and special themed-classes – including those taught by multiple instructors – continue to be preserved, along with sleep meditations and Power Zone rides, which have been saved more frequently over the past couple of months. A significant portion of the classes saved this week come from Peloton’s first season of Dance Cardio.

Well it is so obvious that Peloton Powers really did not respect CVV and all he gave to Peloton when it was growing as a platform. I am sorry for this and the lack of emphasis on Pro-cycling which to me has much more value than watchg Netflix which I can do off the cycle..
Ditto. Peloton has little to no regard for road cycling, with Matt Wilders perhaps being the exception. But they have room for 1,000+ meditation events – on a platform built for cycling. Clowns running the Peloton content shop, if such a thing even exists. Pelobuddy states that these removals are not algorithm based but that’s not clear. Why could they not maintain an entire category of ride, Pro Rides, with, as of Dec 2021 a mere 17 rides? Ridiculous. And CVV has stated several times on iGram that he’s tried to do additional rides but was told they were ‘too busy.’ Pitiful performance Peloton. Bait and switch.
Woooo!!! More classes that members are paying for, GONE! Can’t wait until the bankruptcy announcement.
