Peloton has announced three new treadmills, five new software features for runners, and a new integration with WHOOP as the company makes one of its biggest pushes into running, walking, and hiking yet.
The new hardware lineup includes the $2,195 Peloton Tread Flex, Peloton’s first folding treadmill; the $3,495 Peloton Tread Vision; and the $6,695 Peloton Tread+ Vision.
All three will go on sale in the United States and Canada on October 1, 2026. Several of the software features will also come to Original Series & Cross Training treadmills.

The launch comes almost exactly one year after Peloton introduced its Cross Training hardware lineup and Peloton IQ in October 2025. While last year’s announcement was a refresh of Peloton’s entire product line, this year’s upgrades are centered around running.
Peloton CEO Peter Stern said:
“Expanding our treadmill portfolio and launching AI-powered software for runners will allow us to connect with a much wider audience, positioning Peloton to win the multi-billion dollar at-home treadmill market and help many more people achieve their fitness and wellness goals.”

Peloton shared that their own studies showed that 56% of new Tread members were showing faster times within 6 months, with many of those members having improved their mile pace time by a full minute.
Three New Peloton Treads
The biggest hardware addition is the Peloton Tread Flex – a foldable, lower cost Treadmill.
At $2,195, it becomes Peloton’s least expensive treadmill and their first model that can fold for storage.

Peloton says the Tread Flex reduces its floor footprint by 46% when folded, at which point it takes up less floor space than a Peloton Bike. It moves on casters, reaches a maximum running speed of 12.5 mph, and uses a brushless motor that Peloton says peaks at 70 dB even at maximum speed.
The $3,495 Peloton Tread Vision is the middle model and adds a movement-tracking camera, new commercial-grade deck cushioning, a 23.8-inch swivel screen, improved audio, a built-in fan, and upgraded speed and incline controls.

At the top of the lineup is the $6,695 Peloton Tread+ Vision, which keeps the slat-belt running surface and movement tracker camera. It receives the upgraded speed & incline controls, gets a new “Sled Mode”, and other newer features.
The new controls for the Tread Vision & Tread+ vision now have both an up and down button, allowing members to go a full point up or down to either incline or speed. Previously, there was only an up button. The knob for finer tuned control remains as well.

The existing Cross Training Tread and Cross Training Tread+ will no longer be available to purchase directly from Peloton after October 1, as they are being replaced in the lineup by Tread Vision and Tread+ Vision.
However, Peloton says existing owners will continue receiving new software features whenever their hardware can support them – as is the case with several of the new features being announced today.
There is no trade-in program accompanying the launch.

Run Analysis & Running Efficiency Score
The camera on Tread Vision and Tread+ Vision powers a new Run Analysis feature.
It tracks cadence, stride length, and vertical oscillation while a member runs, then turns that information into a Running Efficiency Score between 1 and 100.

Members also receive one specific coaching tip after the run, with that suggestion appearing again before their next workout.
The results will appear in the post-workout summary on both the Tread and Peloton app.
Run Analysis will be available on Tread Vision, Tread+ Vision, and last year’s Cross Training Tread+.
The Original Series Tread+, Cross Training Tread, and Original Series Treads are not included because they do not have the upgraded movement-tracking camera.

Peloton IQ Pace Targets
Pace Targets are also becoming more personalized through Peloton IQ.
The existing Pace Target system uses 10 levels, with everyone at a particular level receiving the same speed ranges for each effort.
Peloton IQ can now use a member’s recent running performance to recommend narrower, individualized ranges rather than requiring all progress to happen through a full jump from one level to another.
Peloton requires at least 10 running workouts before IQ can generate one of these recommendations.
When Peloton IQ is controlling the targets, the Pace Target display shows “IQ Current” rather than a numbered level. Peloton IQ can also provide guidance before a class begins, such as recommending that a member decrease their speed based on recent training.

All Tread models will be receiving the Peloton IQ Pace Targets feature.

Heart Rate Zone Workouts
Peloton is also launching Heart Rate Zone Workouts through the Guidance feature available in Just Run and Entertainment.
Members connect a compatible heart rate monitor, smartwatch, or band and can choose from different Heart Rate Zone workout options.
The screen shows the member’s current heart rate alongside a workout structure built around heart rate zones rather than speed & incline. There will be notifications when it is time to change heart rate, or when you are out of the target range.

The new feature follows Peloton’s Zone 2 Training Collection earlier this year, but goes further by making the member’s real time heart rate part of the workout experience.
All models of Peloton Treads, including the Original Series and Cross Training series, will be getting the heart rate zones workouts within the Guidance feature.

ReRuns
ReRuns lets members recreate the elevation profile of an outdoor run, walk, or hike on their Peloton Tread.
Outdoor route and elevation data can flow automatically into Peloton from workouts recorded through the Peloton app or connected services including Garmin, Apple Health, and WHOOP.

Once selected, the Tread automatically adjusts incline as the member progresses through the route.
An elevation profile in the upper-left corner shows what climbs and descents are coming, while a progress tracker on the right shows how far through the overall route the member has traveled.
Members can listen to Peloton Radio during a ReRun.
They are not limited to routes they have personally completed either. A Discover section will offer featured routes, which members can bookmark as favorites. Peloton said the full New York City Marathon course and its elevation profile will be among those featured options.
All models of Peloton Treadmills will be receiving the ReRuns feature.

Sled Mode
Sled Mode builds on the Free Mode functionality already available on the Tread+.
Free Mode disengages the motor and requires the member to propel the slat belt themselves. Sled Mode adds an on-screen resistance control that lets the member increase or decrease the load from 30 pounds up to 300 pounds.
An Intro to Sled Mode class will help members learn the feature, while dedicated workouts from instructors including Logan Aldridge and Andy Speer are also planned.

Peloton is positioning the feature for both general functional strength and HYROX training.
Sled Mode requires the slat belt, but it is not exclusive to the new Tread+ Vision. Peloton says the Original Series Tread+ and Cross Training Tread+ will also receive it through firmware & software upgrades.

WHOOP Integration
Peloton is also expanding its wearable ecosystem with a new account integration with WHOOP.
This will be a two way sync, so Peloton workouts can show up in WHOOP and contribute to the personalized insights inside the WHOOP app, and WHOOP workouts can show up in Peloton.
Outdoor route and elevation information recorded through WHOOP can also become available in Peloton’s new ReRuns feature.
WHOOP already supports Bluetooth Heart Rate Broadcast, allowing members to use it as a live heart rate source with Peloton hardware. That capability is not new with this account integration, although it also means WHOOP owners can use their device with the new Heart Rate Zone Guidance.
The integration follows Stern saying last month that Peloton would not build their own wearable and instead planned to work with as many existing wearable platforms as possible.
Whoop integration will be available to all Peloton members, regardless of whether they use any piece of Peloton hardware or the Peloton app.
