New Difficulty Levels for Peloton Lanebreak Video Game on Bike/Bike+

Peloton has recently updated the difficult levels on Peloton Lanebreak, the Bike/Bike+ video game ride format. Members have reported receiving a pop-up alert on their device informing them of the change. The message reads:

You’ve got more options! With updated names and ranges, you can now select a more precise difficult option that works best for you.
Your previous high scores will appear on the leaderboard under the new names.

When Lanebreak first launched, there were four difficulty levels; beginner, intermediate, advanced, and expert.

Moving forward members can expect to see five difficulty levels: light, moderate, hard, challenging, and extreme.

Along with the new labels, there are some slight changes to the resistance ranges for each level. The new “light” level provides an entirely new resistance range, while the other four new levels match up closely with the previous levels – though they are not all an exact match. You can see the breakdown of the new levels and resistance ranges below:

  • Light: resistance range 15-56
  • Moderate: resistance range 20-61
  • Hard: resistance range 25-66
  • Challenging: resistance range 30-71
  • Extreme: resistance range 35-76

Lanebreak was first announced in 2021 and rolled out in February of 2022. It is a video game designed for the original Bike and the Bike+ – though there is reason to believe Lanebreak will soon make its way to the Tread as well.
