Ross Rayburn is leaving Peloton.
Ross made the announcement today about his decision to leave the company on his social media channels. As part of a longer update, he said:
“I’ve decided that it’s time to take a break from teaching at Peloton.”
He shared that he will keep teaching classes until June, as well as have some classes drop later on as part of some programs (that he will presumably record between now and June).
Ross specifically stated his classes will remain part of the on-demand library after he leaves.
Ross was sure to thank everyone who supported him “in this decision” – indicating that Ross is leaving on his own terms.

He had first joined the company in October 2019, and would eventually become the “Lead Instructor” for Peloton Yoga and Meditation.
Last year, Ross released his first booked – called Turning Inward.
Ross has not yet shared what he will do next, but indicated that his book released had “opened the door” to some new opportunities and ways for him to be of service.
Peloton instructors have been showing their support on Ross’ announcement post.
Chelsea Jackson Roberts said that “It is an absolute honor to serve beside you in our Peloton community, Ross. I will never forget how welcomed you made me feel when I arrived. Thank you for your service. I love and will miss you. ❤️”
Both the @OnePeloton and @PelotonStudios accounts reshared his announcement post with the same message – “You’ll always be part of Peloton Ross”
Kristin McGee stated that “Love you Ross and you will definitely be missed ❤️ And I’m so happy for you and your new adventures ✨”
His full announcement, which you can see on his Instagram, said:
Hi everyone,
I have some important news to share with you all
As many of you know I released my first book this year, Turning Inward. I wrote the book to help people who, like me, struggled with meditation. But the book has actually opened up the door to some really new, exciting ways for me to be of service.
Therefore, I’ve decided that it’s time to take a break from teaching at Peloton.
I’ll be teaching until June and I will be a part of some on-demand yoga programs coming up later this year with my friends and colleagues on the yoga team.
And my classes will still be available on the app, so I hope you continue to engage with my content.
I am profoundly and forever grateful to everyone in the Peloton community: To my fellow instructors, to everyone behind the scenes, and to all of you in the great peloton community who have welcomed me into your home for the past 5 years
Lastly, I want to thank everyone at Peloton who has so generously and graciously supported me in this decision and has let me feel that I will always be a part of this team. Be well.
Best of luck to Ross Rayburn in his next adventures after Peloton.
