Peloton has announced a new partnership with TikTok. This will result in the creation of a #TikTokFitness portal on TikTok – or a new “fitness hub” on the app.
According to the companies, this is “an exclusive partnership to bring Peloton’s world-class workout content to the TikTok community. Together the two brands will merge culture and creativity to inspire a new generation of fitness content and creators.”
As part of this partnership, Peloton will have select classes broadcast live on the TikTok app. This was first done last year when Feid rode live at Peloton Studios – which was broadcast live on TikTok at the same time it was released on the Peloton platform (the class was pre-recorded and released as a premiere on the platform, and the live TikTok broadcast was done at the time of the premiere, not when it was actually recorded).
Peloton has not yet stated how often or how many of their classes they will also broadcast live on TikTok. However, they did state that it would include a variety of classes, including some “with and without equipment required.”
In addition, people can expect to see new content & series from some of the Peloton instructors created just on TikTok.
They will also feature “ongoing creator partnerships, Peloton class clips, and celebrity collaborations.” A few creator partnerships are already promoted in the app, and feature home bike setups, and promotion of the Peloton app. These are shown within the portal, and are flagged as paid promotion posts.
Oli Snoddy, Vice President of Consumer Marketing at Peloton said the following about the partnership:
Peloton and TikTok both move at the speed of culture to better serve our respective audiences. We collectively recognize the way people engage with fitness is constantly changing. Our team is excited to complement TikTok’s already burgeoning fitness content by introducing the magic of Peloton to new audiences, and in completely new ways
This new Peloton x TikTok fitness hub will be available to TikTok members in the US, UK, and Canada.
The TikTok app has already been updated to show an advertisement for the new portal for certain search terms. It has promotion about what you can expect from the portal, easy links to several of the Peloton coaches to follow, and a few paid partnership posts from select people on TikTok. You can see screenshots of this throughout the article.

This is Peloton’s second big media partnership in as many weeks. Last week, Peloton announced an official partnership with YouTube TV, which saw YouTube TV get a promoted feature in the Peloton Entertainment app.
