Peloton launched a new collection today called the “Liverpool FC Collection”. This will host all of the special classes they are making for, and with, the Liverpool Football Club (aka Liverpool FC, or soccer team).
This collaboration was announced via a post on the @PelotonStudios Instagram story:
The description of the collection is as follows:
Whatever goals you’ve got, we’ve got you. Dive into this collection inspired by Liverpool FC and kick off a new fitness target with classes designed to help you run, ride, walk, lift, or stretch towards whatever you’re aiming for.
At launch, there were 5 classes available in the LFC Collection:
- 30 min Liverpool FC Ride – Hannah Frankson – 11/27/23 @ 10:30am ET
- 20 min Liverpool FC Walk – Jon Hosking – 11/27/23 @ 10:30am ET
- 20 min Liverpool FC Run – Susie Chan – 11/27/23 @ 10:30am ET
- 20 min Liverpool FC Full Body Strength – Jermaine Johnson – 11/27/23 @ 10:30am ET
- 10 min Liverpool FC Full Body Stretch – Joslyn Thompson Rule – 11/27/23 @ 10:30am ET
The class descriptions include hints of the ties to the Liverpool Football Club. Jermaine’s strength class description is “Build power and agility like a footballer and celebrate the inspirational global community that football brings together.”
Hannah’s class is described as “Ride to Liverpool Football Clubs Locker Room playlist to energize and motivate you – harness your inner athlete mentality and ride towards that win!”
In addition to adding it to the collection, Peloton has created a custom badge for these classes. These classes can be viewed both from the collection itself and within the larger on-demand library. Peloton announced in July 2023 that they had entered a multi-year partnership with Liverpool Football Club. As part of this collaboration, Peloton would be releasing special content to its members, and the LFC Collection appears to be the first of those.
Prior to the LFC Collection being created today, Peloton had released a campaign featuring the manager of Liverpool FC, Jurgen Klopp, along with a commercial. The campaign also included an outdoor run with Marcel Maurer but this run was not included in the LFC Collection.
