Peloton Splits “Sleep” and “Relaxation” Meditation Class Filters

Peloton has updated the meditation filter options to separate “sleep” from “relaxation.”

Previously sleep and relaxation were housed under one central filter option, meaning that if you were looking specifically for sleep meditations, you would have to sort through relaxation content as well – and vice versa.

Moving forward, members will be able to filter specifically for sleep meditations, or specifically for relaxation meditations. Note that calming meditations also live within the “relaxation” filter, along with deep relaxation content. The “sleep” filter solely contains sleep meditations, which also include mid-night meditations (designed to be taken if you wake up in the middle of the night and would like to do a meditation to fall back asleep).

This follows the update we shared last week that “warm up” and “cool down” were split into two distinct filters. You can read more about that change via our overview article.

Will this filter separation be helpful for you moving forward? Are there any other current filters you’d like to see separated?
