Peloton instructor Jess Sims has three upcoming “Jock Jams” classes on the schedule. She shared the news at the end of her live Bike Bootcamp class on Monday, and made the official announcement via Instagram:
We’ve waited 3️⃣ years for this, so we are giving y’all THREE CLASSES FOR THIS!!!!! JOCK JAMS!!!!!!!! We got the mat, tread AND bike ready for this cross discipline mini series. Scrimmage pinnies, high socks and sweat bands encouraged 😍 @onepeloton @tommyboyrecords
There will be three classes across three fitness modalities, starting on Friday, April 1:
- Flash 15: Jock Jams – Jess Sims – 4/1/22 @ 9:15am ET
- Saturday 60: Jock Jams – Jess Sims – 4/2/22 @ 10:00 am ET
- 45 min Jock Jams Bike Bootcamp – Jess Sims – 4/2/22 @ 12:00 pm ET
Flash 15 is a 15 minute strength class that is designed to be taken as a standalone workout. Saturday 60 is Jess’ signature Tread bootcamp series.
Jock Jams are songs mostly from the 1980s and 1990s, and can be classified as a mix of hip hop, dance, and house music. Though instructors often play Jock Jams in their classes, these will be the first-ever official Jock Jams classes. The class description reads: “Cultivate your inner athlete in this special workout fueled by nostalgic Jock Jams. Explore all of the Jock Jams classes in this cross-modality series.”
