Peloton is rolling out a new update for the login screen on hardware devices. The standard white screen that has been the signature login look for years has been replaced with a dynamic purple, blue, and black screen.
This change has been reported on all devices: Bikes, Treads, and Row. However, it is random who is getting it – and some people who have it on their Bike, don’t have it on their Tread, and vice versa.
Besides the color scheme, the member profile icons are slightly larger. Also, instead of simply opening to the login screen once the device is powered on, a new animation appears with a rotating Peloton “P” in a new boot up animation when you turn your screen back on.
Members also may have noticed some slight changes to the home screen. In the upper left hand corner the weekly streak section is displayed differently, with new colors and shading connecting each individual day depending on the active streak.
On the upper right hand corner the section displaying upcoming live and encore classes is formatted differently, with different images besides the standard instructor headshot. In many cases, the new pictures are active shots depicting the instructor doing the associated modality for that class – such as with dumbbells for a strength class.
Peloton may be in the process of standardizing the images across modalities and instructors, as in some cases the images used appear to be numerous years old. The section also contains new icons for the different types of classes members are accustomed to seeing on the upcoming schedule – live, encore, and premiere.
Finally, the text throughout the home screen is slightly more bolded in some areas. In addition, the icons at the bottom of the screen (for Programs, Classes, More, etc) as well as the Stack & Friends at the bottom right have been updated.
In addition, Peloton is also adding a tile for NBA League Pass within the Peloton Entertainment feature, advertising it as coming soon as part of their new partnership with the NBA & WNBA.
These changes appear to have been implemented across all hardware devices – the Bike, Tread, and Row.

I’m not crazy about the change, there seems to be an issue with the joining of live classes, there is no way to join until the countdown hits 0:00.
Great new changes but…
I like the member icons smaller so I don’t have to scroll to the right. (as they were)
Honestly what a boring upgrade. I think Peloton could have done a whoooooole lot better.
Does anyone know, if I delete a member from the new bike login screen, does it take them off my account? I share my membership with a couple of people who never ride my bike and it would be awesome not to have them on there if it doesn’t erase them from my account.
i dont like it.
