Strength for Soccer programs teased in "August Workouts to Watch" email.

New Peloton Strength for Soccer Program and Calming Meditation Program launching in August 2024

Peloton members can anticipate a range of new content throughout this upcoming month, as indicated by the “August Workouts to Watch” email. Highlights include new programs with Erik Jäger and Marcel Maurer, as well as Kirra Michel.

First, Peloton will release their first ever Strength for Soccer strength training content. A new program is on the way with Erik and Marcel, slated to be released on August 23.

Update – Peloton did not release the soccer program on August 23rd as they previously announced. A new date has not yet been shared.

The description reads:

Build strength and endurance in our new one-week Strength for Soccer programs with Erik and Marcel, meant to help you up your game on the field. Available in English and German under Programs on 8/23.

Peloton’s new strength for soccer program will be one week long – and have two distinct versions: one in English, and one in German.

Although it’s possible one version is the same classes with the language dubbed (as we’ve seen with programs like the recent German language half marathon training program) – it seems more likely that this will be two entirely different programs.

This is how Peloton released their new strength for golfers program – with one English program from Selena Samuela, and another German program from Irene Scholz.

Peloton has added to their cross-training content throughout the years, starting with strength for runners and expanding into yoga focus flows for cross-training. The company also mentioned that they would be focusing more on strength content when they announced there would no longer be live Peloton classes on Wednesdays.

Next, Kirra Michel will release her first-ever meditation program called “7 Days to a Calmer You.” The description reads:

Join Kirra in a week-long guided meditation program that focuses on cultivating calmness and emotional equilibrium – for just 10 minutes a day! Available under Programs starting 8/30.

This will be another weeklong program focusing on calming meditations, and it will become available on August 30. This will be Kirra’s second program; her Path to Inversion yoga program was released in 2022.

Because these are both official programs, the classes will most likely not be available in the general class list. Members will need to “start the program” and follow the recommended class schedule in order to access the content. However, we will provide lists to allow people to jump around the program and unlock the classes a la carte. If you’re looking for content to take in the meantime, you can check out our programs page for a list and overview of all available Peloton training programs.

Of course, Peloton has made exceptions to this – with all of Selena’s strength for golfers classes being available in the on-demand library, as well as one of the classes from the new Set The Barre program with Ally Love & Hannah Corbin being available outside the program.

In addition to these upcoming releases, Peloton also highlighted their recently launched Set the Barre program with Ally Love and Hannah Corbin; summer outdoor audio classes; and new Iconos Latinos classes with Rad Lopez, Mariàna Fernandez, and Camila Ramón.

We will share the full details regarding the new Strength for Soccer programs with Erik Jager & Marcel Maurer and the “7 Days to a Calmer You” Meditation program with Kirra Michel as they are released.
