Peloton Increases Class Stack Limit from 10 to 25

Peloton has increased the maximum number of classes members can add to their stack from 10 to 25.

The 10-class limit had been in place since Peloton launched class stacking in January 2021. Today’s change adds room for 15 more classes in the same queue.

Stacking lets members pick classes ahead of time rather than searching for their next workout after each class finishes. Stacks can include on-demand and scenic classes, and can combine different types of workouts, such as a warmup, ride, strength class, and stretch.

The new higher 25 class stacking limit gives members more room to plan several workouts ahead, especially when shorter classes, warmups, and cooldowns would previously fill the available slots. Those classes still sit in one queue, which members can reorder as their plans change.

Peloton’s stacked classes support page now reflects the higher limit, saying:

“While you can only have one Stack at a time, you can queue up to twenty-five classes in a Stack.”

However, members are still limited to a single stack. The increase does not add the ability to create multiple separate lists of classes.

A possible future update could bring multiple member-created lists, allowing members to keep different workouts or groups of classes separate.

The expanded capacity follows several other changes to stacking this year. In January, Peloton introduced an autoplay option for stacks in their iOS and Android apps. In February, they added the ability to view class details directly from a stack, including playlists and class plans.

More recently, the “Continue Your Stack” post-class panel returned to a wider group of members in August, giving them a shortcut to their next queued class – before being reverted again.

Will you use the extra room in your stack, or would you prefer the ability to create multiple lists?
