Peloton Adds Bike Rental Program to Business Offerings / Peloton Corporate Wellness

Peloton is expanding their Bike rental program to Peloton for Business, including the Peloton Corporate Wellness groups. This means that individuals whose employers have a partnership with Peloton are now eligible for the Peloton rental program at a discounted cost. Peloton shared the news via YouTube with a video featuring instructor Robin Arzón.

Peloton’s bike rental program (affiliate link) allows members to rent a Bike or Bike+ and bundle the cost of the hardware with the monthly subscription fee. Moving forward, Peloton’s corporate wellness customers will be eligible for “preferred pricing” – this means they will receive a $10 per month discount off of the original Bike rental program; and a $20 per month discount off of the Bike+ rental program.

As a reminder, “Peloton for Business” is Peloton’s umbrella portfolio housing all of Peloton’s business to business (B2B) offerings, such as Hospitality, Corporate Wellness, Multi-Family Residential, Education, Healthcare, Gyms and Community Wellness. In October of 2023 Peloton added purchases of Bike+ and the Row to their business offerings, and they are now adding rentals of bikes to the equation as well.

Peloton’s bike rental program first launched in 2022 and underwent a number of changes relatively quickly – first by expanding to additional states, then by expanding to the entire continental U.S. In 2023 bike rentals became available in Canada, and later became available in Germany. CEO Barry McCarthy has previously discussed the possibility of expanding the rental program to the Row, but explained that a rental program for the Tread is unlikely.
