Peloton has added two hardware devices to their business offerings: the Bike+ and the Row. Peloton shared the news via press release:
Peloton For Business has announced the launch of two new products for commercial customers – Peloton Row and Peloton Bike+. Commercial customers can now expand their equipment offerings in hotels, multi-family residential gyms, corporate office gyms, campus recreation centers, and community wellness gyms.
Previously only the original Peloton Bike was available to commercial customers. Moving forward, locations like hotels, gyms, businesses, and more will be able to purchase Bike+ and Row devices as well. However, note that the Row is currently only available for commercial purchase in the United States, while the Bike+ is available in Peloton’s other markets of Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, Australia, and Austria.
Peloton commercial devices are different from those sold to at-home customers. The press release explains:
Peloton products for commercial use are optimized for business, with unique commercial software that allows an unlimited number of exercisers to create an account and work out for free, plus a commercial limited warranty and dedicated commercial support team. In the last 12 months alone, there have been more than 7.5 million rides taken on Peloton original Bikes in commercial settings globally, with our list of partners growing consistently.
In August of 2023 Peloton established “Peloton for Business” – an umbrella portfolio housing all of Peloton’s business to business (B2B) offerings, such as Hospitality, Corporate Wellness, Multi-Family Residential, Education, Healthcare, Gyms and Community Wellness. Though many of the offerings underneath the larger umbrella had existed for time, the announcement of Peloton for Business brought all of the initiatives within one management structure and signaled a renewed focus and rebranding of the venture.
