Peloton The Annual 2022 Challenge Calculator: How many minutes do I need to work out each day to complete the challenge?

Each year, Peloton has a year-long challenge called “The Annual”. The 2022 challenge was announced on December 23rd. The Annual Challenge encourages Peloton members to workout consistently throughout the year. As members earn more minutes worked out, they get higher level badges. Minutes are tracked across all activity types. (Note you can click here to jump straight to the calculator!)

Members are able to get their first badge once they have worked out for 1,000 minutes. Badges are then available every 1,000 minutes up to 10,000 minutes, and then it jumps up to 15,000 minutes. There are also 18,000 and 20,000 minute badges. For the previous 2 years, Peloton has added higher level badges in the fall – so there’s a possibility a 25,000 and 30,000 minute badge could be added at a later date, but not guaranteed. Last year, the challenge originally ended at 15,000 minutes, but in September, Peloton added extra 18,000 and 20,000 minute badges.

With this challenge, many people wonder how many minutes they need to work out every day in order to get a certain badge in Peloton’s The Annual Challenge. To help with this, we’ve created a calculator for you.

First, you’ll want to select the number of minutes you are aiming for by the end of the year. It defaults to the highest level badge (20,000 minutes), but you can use the dropdown to pick any other level. We’ve also added a 25,000 and 30,000 level in case Peloton adds those at a later date.

Next, input how many minutes you’ve worked out for the year. If you don’t know, you can head to Peloton’s website to find out. Simply click this link which takes you to the challenge page for The Annual 2022 on Peloton’s site. If you haven’t opted in, do that! On that page is a section that shows you exactly how many minutes you have worked out so far.

Using this information, you can now use the calculator below. After you’ve entered the number of minutes you’ve worked out so far, and selected the milestone you are working towards, just hit “Calculate”. A message will then show up telling you exactly how many minutes you need to work out per day, from now until the end of the year, to achieve that milestone by December 31st.

To many people get obsessed with numbers and over train. Train smart.

Do you know why the annual counter would stop counting meditations? I may add a 5 -10 minute meditation at the end of a workout and they don’t seem to count on my annual counter? They did until I hit 18,000 minutes.
