Four New German Split Strength Programs & German 5K Pace Setter Collection Now Available

Peloton has released four new split strength programs and one new outdoor 5K pace setter running collection in German.

Strength instructors Erik Jäger and Marcel Maurer each have two new split strength programs in German available. Erik has an intermediate three day split and an advanced five day split, while Marcel’s 3 day split and 5 day split are both intermediate.

All four new split strength programs are designed to be taken over the course of one week, and contain either three or five 30 minute split strength classes.

“Split strength” programs indicate that instead of focusing on the traditional upper body, lower body, etc. the classes focus on a specific set of muscles that are identified within the class title.

Peloton also has split strength programs available with Callie Gullickson, Matty Maggiacomo, Robin Arzón, Adrian Williams, Ben Alldis, and Jermaine Johnson. You can always find the full list of available programs via our site, along with an overview of what to expect for each.

You can access the new German Split Strength programs via the app, web browser, or your hardware device.

In addition, there is also a new 5K Pace Setter collection in German. These are outdoor audio classes designed to be listened to during a 5K with a specific pace goal in mind. Instructors guide you throughout the duration of the class, checking in at each half mile to ensure you achieve your goal pace.

There are pace options for 5 minutes, 6 minutes, 7 minutes, and 8 minutes, along with a 10 minute warm-up class. There is also a version available in English that was released in late 2022 – our overview article goes into a lot more detail about the classes and how they work.

The new German language 5K pace-setter classes are taught by Mayla Wedekind, Tobias Heinze, Marcel Maurer, and Jeffrey McEachern.

Note that there is a badge available for taking any of the 5K pace setter classes (except for the warm-up).
