Peloton Launches New Floor Bootcamp Program with Jess Sims & Selena Samuela – Class List, Schedule & Overview of this new Program

Peloton has launched a new Floor Bootcamp program exclusive to the Peloton Guide, Peloton’s first-ever strength connected product released last week. We first reported in January this new floor bootcamp program would be coming to the Peloton Guide.

The program launched on the Guide this morning and will be “exclusive” to Guide users for around seven weeks before becoming available to all members. However, if you don’t have the Guide and want to get a jump start, this program appears to work like the other Peloton programs – if you have the links to the class you can take them individually (even without the Guide!) – you just won’t make any progress towards earning the program badge. Peloton shared the news of the program via Instagram with a teaser video featuring instructors Jess Sims and Selena Samuela. Selena also shared additional details on her Instagram page:

HERE IT IS @onepeloton ! @jsimsfit and I created a brand new program and class style just for you ! FLOOR BOOTCAMP 🚨 a split style workout like tread or bike bootcamp except it’s all on the mat with both bodyweight cardio sections and weighted strength sections. These classes are absolute butt whoopers (would you expect any less from us) 🔥 the program also features a testing day where you can test your progress with both of us (two for one baby!!!) this is the first time @onepeloton where two women have come together to teach a 2 for 1 strength class and the first time two women have come together to create a strength program 💥
Don’t sleep on this, it’s a fitness revolution babehhhh !!

The official description of the program reads: “Take your strength and cardio to the next level with Jess & Selena’s Floor Bootcamp! This four-week Peloton Guide program is designed to make you stronger and increase your aerobic endurance while HAVING FUN.”

Floor Bootcamp – like all other bootcamp content – splits the workout up between cardio and strength, so members get the best of both worlds. However, instead of requiring a device such as the Bike or Tread, Floor Bootcamp will only use a workout mat for the cardio portions. This means that Members can expect to see moves performed in Peloton’s Cardio modality for the cardio portion of Floor Bootcamp classes.

The program is a total of four weeks and contains 24 classes with Jess Sims and Selena Samuela. The proposed schedule recommends three active days per week with rest or active recovery in between each working day. Each week there is a 30 minute Floor Bootcamp with Selena; a 30 minute Floor Bootcamp with Jess; and a 20 minute two-for-one Floor Bootcamp with Jess and Selena (repeated every week) that serves as a “test day” each week. These classes are paired with three new 5 minute full body stretches.

The following is a list of the classes for each week which are part of the program. Note that as part of Peloton’s relaunch of programs, these classes are “locked” and only available as you progress through the program (unless you use the links below!) As a Peloton Guide program, it is also “exclusive” to the Peloton Guide for 7 weeks before being rolled out to all members. However, as usual, it appears the individual classes can be taken if you know how to get to them. You can view all the other Peloton programs here.

One thing to point out again is that the stretches for each week repeat each week. And the third main workout of the week (the 20 min bootcamp with both Jess & Selena) is the same format every week (an earlier version of this article incorrectly said it was the same exact class each week – instead, it’s the same format / exercises each week). This was done so that you could test yourself with the two-for-one class on Day 5 and see your improvement each week against the same class. We now have links for all weeks of the program.

Floor Bootcamp is the third new bootcamp format announced in recent weeks. Just last month Peloton released the first ever Boxing Bootcamps, which split classes up between cardio shadowboxing and strength work. In addition, last month Rebecca Kennedy taught the first Hiking Bootcamp on the Tread, which is a lower impact bootcamp that does not include any running or jogging.

Guide users can start the new Floor Bootcamp program today, and all other members can expect to see the program become available in late May/early June.

    Thanks so much for these links! I was able to add the class to my stack from the links and then stream it from my phone so that my Apple Watch would still heart track. Appreciate the effort and availability of the links!
