Peloton is adding several new Strength Benchmark classes to the on-demand library this week.
The news was shared via the @PelotonStudios Instagram account today, saying:
“Kick off your summer with new Benchmark Strength classes, designed to help you consistently track your progress as you get stronger. Then revisit them again in 6 weeks to see how far you’ve come.”

There are five new classes expected this week, each with a specific body focus area:
- 20 min. Full Body Strength Benchmark with Robin Arzón – 5/28/24 @ 9:30am ET
- 20 min. Bodyweight Strength Benchmark with Andy Speer – 5/28/24 On Demand @ 9:30am ET
- 20 min. Core Strength Benchmark with Rebecca Kennedy – 5/29/24 On Demand @ 10:00am ET
- 20 min. Upper Body Strength Benchmark with Ben Alldis – 5/30/24 On Demand @ 10:00am ET
- 20 min. Lower Body Strength Benchmark with Adrian Williams – 5/31/24 On Demand @ 10:00 am ET
Of these newest classes, only Robin’s was a live class. The rest are being released straight to the on-demand library. Robin shared more details about her benchmark class on her Instagram story as she headed into the studio to film.

She explained how the benchmark strength test is “meant to establish a baseline to see where you’re at” and shared her specific class’s format which follows the same structure as her previous two benchmark classes:
- Plank (for time)
- Squats (for reps)
- Push-ups (for reps)
- 8-minute AMRAP: renegade row, push press, forward lunge, thruster
For those who have completed Robin’s previous benchmark classes, “today you’re trying to go heavier with weight, higher with rep, or longer in the plank.”
In January of this year, Robin and Andy each released 20-minute benchmark strength classes that were just called “Full Body Strength” and “Bodyweight Strength” respectively. Those classes have since been renamed with “Benchmark” in the class title.

There is also a new “Benchmark Strength” class collection where you can find the two classes from January and the latest classes being released this week.
If you enjoy benchmark classes – there are a dozen or so more hidden throughout the Peloton library in various programs & collections. You can check out a list of other Peloton benchmark classes below:
