Update – Daniel McKenna has been officially announced as a new coach on August 27th.
It’s time for the first new Peloton instructor rumor of the year. The rumor mill indicates that Daniel ‘Yankee’ McKenna might be in training to be a new Peloton coach. Initial indicators are that Daniel would be joining the Tread team, teaching strength, running, tread bootcamp, and cardio classes.
Most recently, Daniel has been working in New York City as a personal trainer. He has created ‘The Irish Yank Society’ for his training programs. Over the summer & fall he led group training strength classes focused on kettlebell moves.
On his website, he describes himself as follows:

- Level 1 USAW Olympic lifting certification
