Peloton is opening their latest micro-store showroom, bringing the company to their goal of 10 open micro-stores before the holiday season. The newest location to open is in Denver, Colorado.
The Denver Peloton showroom is located in the Cherry Creek shopping center, located at 3000 E 1st Ave, Denver, CO 80206.
We previously shared that Peloton was likely to open a micro-store in this location after a new job posting became available.
Peloton now has micro-stores open in the following cities:
- Nashville, Tennessee
- Murray, Utah
- Boston, Massachusetts
- Las Vegas, Nevada
- Short Hills, New Jersey
- Seattle, Washington
- Atlanta, Georgia
- Tampa, Florida
- McLean, Virginia
Each of these locations has Peloton’s newest Cross Training equipment on display for customers to experience in-person.
Earlier this year Peloton shared that they plan to have 10 micro-store locations open by the end of 2025. With the opening of Denver, they have now met that goal prior to the holiday season.
Peloton has stated that early results have seen them make almost the same revenue and helped the same number of customers as a traditional store – but at 10% of the cost of full-sized store. This comes in the wake of Peloton continuing to close their traditional showrooms, further reducing their retail footprint across the U.S.
Peloton has already confirmed their intention to shutter all remaining traditional retail locations by next year. The smaller, more efficient micro-showroom format is intended to replace those larger stores while still maintaining a physical presence in key markets.
Now that Peloton has hit their goal of 10 open micro-store locations by the holiday season, it is unclear what their long term goal might be; but it could potentially be revealed at the next earnings call, which is scheduled for November 6.
Peloton continues to expand with third party partners as well, most recently having partnered with Harvey Norman in Australia.
