Peloton has officially announced a new retail partnership in Australia.
Peloton hardware devices (the Bike, Bike+, and Tread) are now available in select Harvey Norman stores across the country.
Peloton teased the new partnership by saying:
The new Peloton Cross Training Series is here – and it’s now available in select Harvey Norman stores. Visit your nearest location to speak with Peloton experts and try out next-level features like the Swivel Screen, Movement-Tracking Camera, Suggested Weights and more.
According to Peloton’s showroom locator, there are currently eight Harvey Norman locations offering Peloton devices, spread out across the country in Australian Capital Territory, Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, Western Australia, and South Australia.
The current list of Harvey Norman stores in Australia that carry Peloton are:
- Bondi Junction, Sydney
- Moore Park, Sydney
- Belrose, Sydney
- Chadstone, Melbourne
- QV, Melbourne
- City West, Perth
- Fortitude Valley, Brisbane
- Bundall, Gold Coast
- Toowoomba, Toowoomba
- Gepps Cross, Adelaide
- Fyshwick, Canberra
Shoppers can visit these stores to see and test the company’s latest hardware, including the new Cross Training Bike+ and Tread, which feature the 360 degree swivel screen and Peloton IQ technology.
Peloton previously operated its own showrooms across the country but closed them in recent years as part of a global restructuring effort. Since then, Peloton has occasionally brought its products back to Australian shoppers through short-term pop-up locations, most recently in Melbourne and the Sydney area.
This comes as Peloton is opening “micro store” showrooms (mall kiosks) across the US.
Harvey Norman is one of Australia’s largest electronics and fitness retailers. Through this new partnership Peloton appears to be re-establishing a more stable in-person retail footprint.
