Peloton continues to expand its new retail strategy with the opening of four additional micro-store showrooms.
The newest Peloton micro showrooms in the process of opening are:
- Natick Mall in Natick (Boston), Massachusetts
- Fashion Show Las Vegas in Las Vegas, Nevada
- The Mall at Short Hills in Short Hills, New Jersey
- Alderwood Mall in Lynnwood (Seattle), Washington
We previously shared that Peloton was likely to open micro-stores in some of these locations after new job postings became available. These stores follow Peloton’s first two micro-store openings in Nashville, Tennessee, and Murray, Utah.
Each of these locations will showcase Peloton’s newest Cross Training equipment – the newly announced upgraded hardware product line. They will not, however, carry apparel.
As a refresher, earlier this year Peloton shared that they plan to have 10 micro-store locations open by the end of 2025. These mall-kiosk style spaces are designed to engage customers efficiently without the overhead of a full-sized store. This comes in the wake of Peloton continuing to close their traditional showrooms – including six earlier this week – further reducing their retail footprint across the U.S.
Peloton has already confirmed their intention to shutter all remaining traditional retail locations by next year (this does not include the showrooms at PSNY & PSL – which are planned to remain open). The smaller, more efficient micro-showroom format is intended to replace those larger stores while still maintaining a physical presence in key markets.
With these additions, Peloton is more than halfway to its holiday season target of 10 micro showrooms, signaling their commitment to making the newest product lines – particularly Cross Training – more accessible to both current and prospective members.
