Peloton Instructors Leanne Hainsby, Ben Alldis, Jon Hosking, Hannah Frankson, & Jeffrey McEachern To Run the 2024 London Marathon

Leanne Hainsby has shared that she will be be running the 2024 London Marathon for charity – and that she will be joined by several of her follow Peloton instructors.

She made the announcement earlier this week, after recapping that 2023 was the year she beat cancer.

She went on to say that 2024 was her year to give back, and that she would be taking on the 2024 London Marathon to give back and raise money for Breast Cancer Now, the United Kingdom’s largest breast cancer charity dedicated to research and support. You can support Leanne’s (and Ben’s) fundraising efforts via their dedicated fundraising page.

Leanne went on to say “I have always promised myself I would run it when I felt I had a ‘why’, and that time is now. Even better to do it in the city I live in, grew up in, and love.”

You can read Leanne’s full post at the bottom of this article. She ends her message with, “Let’s do this @benjaminalldis @jeffreymce @jon_hosking,” indicating that fellow instructors Ben Alldis, Jeffrey McEachern, and Jon Hosking are also running the marathon.

In addition, in an Instagram live video this week, Leanne seemed to indicate that Hannah Frankson would be running the London Marathon 2024 with them as well. However, that has yet to be officially confirmed at this time.

Ben had previously shared his intentions to run the 2024 London Marathon and raise money for the non-profit organization Breast Cancer Now back in September. At the time he revealed that Jon would be his training coach; but it now appears that Jon will be running the marathon as well, along with fellow marathon runner and instructor Jeffrey, and Leanne.

Leanne is using the same fundraising page as Ben – and they are raising funds together.

Below is Leanne’s full Instagram post regarding her decision to run the London Marathon:

2023 – The year I beat cancer. That’s my highlight.
Time to give back. I’m running the London Marathon 2024 to raise money for @breastcancernow.
I’ve always LOVED the London marathon. I find it totally inspiring, hugely emotional and I’ve always wanted to do it. I’m completely terrified and at this point, can’t imagine finishing it.
I have always promised myself I would run it when I felt I had a ‘why’, and that time is now. Even better to do it in the city I live in, grew up in, and love.
I’m determined to change the conversation I have with myself about running. I CAN run, it’s just for some reason over the years I’ve lost my confidence with it, and refer to myself as someone who isn’t a runner 🙄.
Post cancer treatment, I have had this urge to go head first into the things I’ve told myself I can’t do, because I REALLY CAN, and when you go through hard times, you can’t believe you ever set yourself limits in certain areas of life.
I won’t be the best runner on the day, but I’ll be up there doing MY best AND raising money for a charity that has, and will continue to help thousands of people affected by breast cancer.
So, follow along for the journey, send any advice my way (pleassseeeee) and most importantly, donate if you can (link in bio)🏃‍♀️ ❤️ x
A huge thank you to @benspelotonarmy for securing the spot! Let’s do this @benjaminalldis @jeffreymce @jon_hosking 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♂️
