New Peloton Dance Cardio Classes with Leanne Hainsby, Emma Lovewell & Hannah Corbin (first new classes since 2021)

Peloton has released a third installment of Dance Cardio. Eight new Peloton Dance Cardio classes are available with instructors Hannah Corbin, Leanne Hainsby, and Emma Lovewell.

Peloton’s new dance cardio Classes were dropped straight to the on demand library at 5:00am ET on Tuesday, June 27, and are each 10 minutes in length, with one 5 minute warm-up class and one 5 minute stretching class. There are both beginner and intermediate level classes.

All new classes have been placed in the dedicated Dance Cardio collection, which contains classes from 2021 and 2020 as well, separated by the year they were released.

Those familiar with Peloton’s Dance Cardio content will notice that these are the first classes that are taught by a solo instructor. All previous classes have been led by 2-3 instructors at a time. This is also the first Dance Cardio content from Leanne Hainsby, who is a former professional dancer. Hannah Corbin and Emma Lovewell both have classes available from the first two releases.

In addition, Peloton has utilized existing studio space for Dance Cardio this time. Previous Dance Cardio content appeared to be filmed offsite. Emma’s and Hannah’s classes take place in the Peloton Studios New York (PSNY) yoga studio (where Barre and Pilates content are also filmed), while Leanne’s class takes place in the Peloton Studios London (PSL) strength studio.

The more casual format – in which instructors teach coach-to-camera in Peloton’s existing space rather than needing to take separate time to rehearse and set up a special studio production – suggests that Dance Cardio content could be released more routinely moving forward.

Peloton teased the new classes via the @PelotonStudios “This Week at Peloton” Instagram post earlier this week.

Peloton first launched Dance Cardio in March 2020, and released a second installment in October 2021. The second release added a new instructor to the roster – Callie Gullickson – and featured Beyoncé and USHER classes.

You can find all available Dance Cardio classes by filtering for “Dance Cardio” in the Cardio modality, or by navigating to the Dance Cardio collection.
