Peloton is starting their 2024 Black Friday sales a few weeks earlier than expected – with some people being able to access Black Friday pricing starting today. However, for the time being, only people who who have been given a referral code can access the 2024 Peloton Black Friday sales.
Update – These same deals were offered for Peloton’s public Black Friday sale from Nov 12 – Dec 2.
Peloton is implying that these are the same exact discounts we will see for the main Black Friday sale & 2024 Cyber Monday sale in a few weeks – but are starting them a bit early for anyone who can get a referral code or link from an existing member.
In other words – if you don’t have a referral code, you should still be able to get these same sales in a few weeks when Peloton’s public Black Friday sale starts.
At the same time this early access sale has gone live, Peloton also launched a Black Friday Price match guarantee. This seems to imply that even if you don’t have a referral code, you can order now, and price match to the early-access pricing. Peloton does note that you have to order directly from Peloton to take advantage of this, you can only price match to other official Peloton sales (not third party), your purchase has to be made between November 1st – 11th, and you must request your price offer match by December 2nd. However, you will likely want to confirm this with customer support for sure before going this route.
Peloton’s early access Black Friday sale is scheduled to end on November 11th. This means that public access to Peloton’s Black Friday sales is likely to begin on Nov 12.
As part of this early access promotion, the regular referral bonus is changing temporarily. The member who makes the referral will get one month’s worth of free All-Access membership rather than the usual $100 apparel code. This only applies if the person buying the new device is a brand new All-Access member (and not getting a second or third device).
Peloton’s Black Friday discount amount varies by product. While many of the offers include a discount on just the device without a package (they call this the “Basic” packages technically), the Bike+ is only being offered as a discounted package (but take a closer look at this, as it is effectively a $500 discount on just the Bike+ and includes light weights) and the Row is only offering free membership with no cash discount.
Peloton’s 2024 Black Friday sales can be accessed online, or at a Peloton showroom by showing a Peloton team member your referral link when making the purchase in store.
Below, we’ll go through each device type and what the discount is. The biggest sales are on Peloton Tread+ ($700 off) and more than 50% off the Peloton Guide (bringing it to $45). These prices are showing the US discounts, but there are similar discounts in every region.
All of these sales include free setup & delivery – although tax will be extra depending on where you live.
2024 Peloton Bike Black Friday Sales, Discount & Deals
Peloton’s 2024 Black Friday sale on the original Peloton Bike will save you $150 off the Peloton Bike (the “Bike Basics), as well as give you 1 month worth of free access. This brings the Peloton Bike down from $1,445 to $1,295. You can also save $300 off one of the packages that includes more weights and shoes (Bike Starter and Bike Ultimate).
Last year, Peloton’s Black Friday sale saw the original Peloton Bike listed for $1,095 (a $350 discount). They also offered $150 off refurbished bikes (this year the $150 off is on the new bike), $455 off Bike Starter, and $550 off Bike Ultimate.
Keep in mind the original Peloton Bike is listed for sale at Amazon as well (affiliate link) – so it’s possible Amazon may have a better deal during their Black Friday sales. We saw it discounted to $1,228 during Amazon Prime’s Fall sale in October.
2024 Peloton Bike+ Black Friday Sales, Discount & Deals
Although Peloton is not offering a sale on just the Bike+ by itself (the sales are only on the package combos) – the package combo ends up being a discount over the regular cost of the Bike+ by itself. The official 2024 Peloton Black Friday sale on the Bike+ is a $705 discount on either of their packages – the Bike+ starter package or the Bike+ ultimate package.
However, buying the Peloton Bike+ starter package ends being an effective $500 discount on the Bike+ – and you get a free pair of weights and shoes. This is because the Bike+ starter package is typically $2700. The Black Friday sale brings that cost down to $1,995 – a $500 discount over the normal retail price of $2,495 for the Peloton Bike+. In addition, this gets you a free pair of cycling shoes and some light weights as well.
This deal is better than the just announced Costco pricing – where the Bike+ is $1,999 if you buy it in store or $2,199 delivered. Plus, ordering from Peloton will get you the installation included – whereas Costco is self-assembly.
You can also opt for the Bike+ Ultimate package if you want more weights. This will cost you $2,285 – a $205 savings over the regular price of the Bike+, however, you get 3 pairs of Peloton weights (of any combination you want) plus cycling shoes. If you are looking to build out your weight collection – this might be a way to save some money on that.
Peloton offered all variations of the Bike+ for sale last year on Black Friday. The 2023 Bike+ Black Friday sales were for $400 off a refurbished Bike+, $500 off just the Bike+, $600 off Bike+ starter, or $700 off Bike+ Ultimate package.
2024 Peloton Tread+ Black Friday Sales, Discount & Deals
Peloton’s 2024 Black Friday sale on the Tread+ will save you $700 off the Tread+ itself (the Tread+ basics). This will bring the Tread+ down to $5,295 for Black Friday.
You can also save $800 off the Tread+ starter package or Tread+ ultimate package which includes various amounts of weights.
The Tread+ was not available for sale last Black Friday, so there is nothing to compare it to. This is the best sale we’ve seen on the Tread+ since it relaunched with $1,000 off introductory pricing.
2024 Peloton Tread Black Friday Sales, Discount & Deals
The regular Peloton Tread is discounted for Black Friday as well. Peloton’s 2024 Black Friday sale on the Peloton Tread will get you $300 off the Peloton Tread (the Tread basics), plus one month of free membership. This will bring the price down to $2,695.
Peloton is also offering discounts of $450 off the Tread Starter package and the Tread Ultimate package.
This matches Peloton’s 2023 Black Friday sale on the Peloton Tread (which was also $300 off). The package deals are slightly different – it was $400 off Tread starter last year, and $500 off Tread ultimate.
2024 Peloton Row Black Friday Sales, Discount & Deals
The Peloton Row is not seeing a cash discount this year. Instead, Peloton’s 2024 Black Friday sale on the Peloton Row is for 2 months worth of free membership if you buy the Peloton Row (Row Basics). This is the same offer for the base Peloton Row package (Row basics) as well as the upgraded Row Starter and Row Ultimate packages.
Last year, Peloton offered $250 off the Peloton Row in the US, along with $300 off the Row Starter or $400 off Row Ultimate.
Peloton has also raised the price of the Row by $300 since last year. This means that this year, you do not get a discount on the $3,295 price – while last year you ended up getting the Row for $2,745 ($250 off the previous $2,995 price).
2024 Peloton Guide Black Friday Sales, Discount & Deals
The Peloton Guide is being offered for over 50% off for Black Friday this year. Peloton’s Black Friday sale on the Peloton Guide means you can buy it for only $45. This is $50 off the “Guide Basics” – or more than 50% off the permanent new price of $95.
You are also able to save $100 off the Guide starter package or the Guide Ultimate package.
If you are a Peloton App+ subscriber who has more than one member in your house paying for the app subscription of $24/month – you likely will want to buy this just to get upgraded to the Peloton Guide membership. This is also $24/month, but lets you have up to 5 members of your household share the same membership.
This is the lowest nation-wide price we have ever seen for the Peloton Guide (there were a few days a Tampa showroom was selling the Guide for the same price but that was quickly shut down).
Last year, the Peloton Guide retailed for $200, and Peloton offered more than 50% off as well, with it discounted to $95 for Black Friday.
