This morning, Peloton gave consumers a head start on Black Friday with an early sales event, offering significant discounts across its lineup of Bikes, Treads, and Accessories. Alongside the early access Black Friday sale, Peloton introduced a Black Friday/Cyber Monday Price Match Guarantee, ensuring that customers can shop with confidence now, knowing they will not miss out if prices drop further during the holiday season.
According to a new support page, the price match will run from November 1-11, 2024:
We’re allowing our Members to shop early with confidence! If you see a better offer in Peloton Showrooms or on onepeloton.com on the Peloton Bike, Bike+, Tread, Tread+, Row, or Guide from now through November 11, 2024, contact our Support Team and we will match it! Please note, this offer match pertains to discounts on equipment and/or accessories; it does not apply to financing rates or terms.
There are some important items to note, including items that do not qualify for the price match, as outlined below:
- All Peloton purchases made via a 3rd party retailer
- Purchases made before November 1, 2024
- Purchases made after November 11, 2024
- Peloton Rental Purchases
- Accessories purchased a la carte, independently of a Bike/Bike+/Tread/Tread+/Row/Guide
- Apparel found on apparel.onepeloton.com
And, as it states above – they will only price match to other sales Peloton offers. The price match doesn’t apply if a third party retailer beats Peloton’s prices either.
Most noteworthy, the price match offer does not apply if you buy from a third-party retailer such as Amazon, DICK’S Sporting Goods, or Costco; the device must be purchased from a Peloton retail store, Peloton’s website, or via inside sales.
In addition, the support page mentions that financing terms and limited edition products are excluded from this year’s price match.
Price match requests must be submitted to Peloton by December 2, 2024, and proof of purchase is required for any post-purchase price adjustments.
Peloton has previously offered price match guarantees during the Black Friday/holiday sales period.
Note that Peloton continues to offer its 30-day free home trial, allowing buyers to return the equipment within a month. If Peloton didn’t offer their Black Friday price match, members could still return their device within the 30 day window and reorder with the new price.
