New Peloton Power Zone Training Program Soon: “Boost Your Base: Power Zones”

Peloton has shared that they have a new power zone training program launching later this month.

Update – You can find details and class lists about the Boost Your Base Power Zones training program on Peloton here.

The new cycling program will be called “Boost Your Base: Power Zones.” It will be the first new English-language power zone program added in nearly 3 years (although there have been hundreds of individual power zone classes taught by the instructors since then – just not packaged into a full program).

At this time, Peloton has not shared how long the new Boost Your Base Power Zone training program will be, or which instructors will be teaching it.

This will be Peloton’s fourth official power zone training program. They also have Discover Your Power Zones (5 weeks), Build Your Power Zones (5 weeks), and Peak Your Power Zones (8 weeks). There are also German-language versions of some of these programs.

Unlike regular cycling classes, where instructors call out a specific cadence and resistance, Peloton’s power zone cycling classes (and programs) are taught using a zone system. The instructors teach by calling out a zone (a number from 1-7), which corresponds to an output range. After taking a FTP test prior to starting the program, each rider knows what their individual output numbers are are for each zone – thus making power zone training a more personalized type of training.

As always, we will share details and full information about the program when it becomes available. You can find a full list and details about all of Peloton’s programs here.

Peloton’s post teasing the program simply said “Boost Your Base: Power Zones… More info coming soon ⚡️👀” and the caption on the video stated “When you can finally tell members there’s a new Power Zone program dropping this month”
