This morning, Peloton added new guided scenic rides & runs to the library, which were recorded from Puerto Rico.
The highlight of these are two new guided scenic classes led by Mariana Fernández – who previously has only led yoga & meditation classes. However, Mariana is an accomplished triathlete – even completing an half Ironman triathlon last fall.
The new guided classes which were added today include a 20 minute run, and a 20 minute ride, both led by Mariana. They take place in Old San Juan & Piñones.
Mariana announced the new classes on Instagram, saying:
🌴 La Isla del Encanto 🌴 Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 you are magic.
I ran, I biked, I reset, I danced in my what can only be described as getting to live my favorite things… and now we get to share them thanks to @onepeloton ✨🌴🌊✨
@runnerjacqui was my guardian angel and anchor as we navigated all that had to happen to make sure it was done right. This is her artistry and her work- I just got to join and experience the enchantment of this island-
Whether you’ve been to PR or not, I hope the run, ride, and meditation allow you to experience its Magia … ✨🌊🌴✨
In addition to the new guided scenic classes, there are also several new time & distance based scenic rides & runs that were also recorded in Puerto Rico. Note that like all scenic rides & runs, they are only available on the Bike or Tread, and not via the Peloton app.
There is also a new scenic meditation available from Mariana as part of this drop – a 10 min Puerto Rico Peace Meditation in Spanish. This class IS available to all members. Last week, Peloton also introduced their first scenic meditation class to celebrate Earth Day – which was also recorded by Mariana while in Puerto Rico.
We will be adding all of these to our list of scenic rides & list of scenic runs over the next few days.
The most recent scenic locations have been brought to Peloton members from Iceland by Jess Sims & Ben Alldis, as well as from Oregon by Becs Gentry & Emma Lovewell.
