All Peloton Bike Replacement Seat Posts Should Be Shipped by September 29th, 2023 (Update from Peloton)

Peloton has just provided an update on the shipment of replacement bike seat posts, which will be welcome news to many members. This update came in the form of an email sent directly to members with the subject “Replacement Seat Post Update”

Specifically, Peloton has now said that they will be able to send out all replacement seat posts by September 29th, 2023. This applies to orders that had been placed as of today, July 28th. It’s not clear how long replacement bike seat posts that are ordered after today will take to ship.

Last month, we shared that several members had estimated shipping dates of late 2023 or even into 2024. All of those members should now see an earlier shipping date estimate in their account history.

As a reminder, a recall was issued for the Peloton Bike seat post in May. All owners of an original Peloton bike were able to order a free replacement bike seat post. Peloton then shared they would be dividing those seat post shipments into three groups.

Peloton says that this change is thanks to the fact their “team has been working hard to increase availability and expedite shipments.”

Peloton hints that there might be a chance for the seat posts to ship even earlier, saying that “As we continue to work with our supply chain partners, we will provide ongoing updates via your order history page.”
