Peloton is holding a limited time bonus offer with their referral program; however, this latest offer is structured differently than they have done in the past.
Between February 1-12, 2024, members who share their referral code will receive two complimentary months of their All-Access Membership – an approximately $88 value. The customer who uses the referral code will in turn receive $200 off their hardware device purchase (an increase in value for that person as well).
Note that these values and dollar amounts apply to the US. The promotion is running across other markets as well, but the dollar and value amount may differ country to country.
The Peloton support page about referrals now has a bright red message at the top informing members of the temporary offer:
Please note that our standard Refer a Friend program will be paused from February 1 – 12, 2024 while we offer something special to our referring Members for a limited time. During this time, please refer to this page for information on how to refer new Members to the Peloton community. Note that referrals made as part of this limited time offer will count towards your maximum referral allotment of six per calendar year.
Referral codes normally provide the new customer $100 off accessories purchased along with a hardware device, and the existing member who shared the code receives $100 off of a Peloton Apparel purchase.
This limited time offer provides double the discount for the new customer, but a lower monetary value for the existing Peloton member. However, the All-Access membership is a required monthly cost with any Peloton hardware device – as opposed to shopping for accessories and apparel at Peloton Apparel. For some members, this free membership reward might be even more valuable, and even preferred.
Peloton periodically offers bonus referrals throughout the year, most recently in October of 2023. These bonuses are typically structured so that new customers receive $200 off their hardware accessory purchase, and the member receives $200 off their Peloton Apparel purchase.
Note that the referral program is only open to All-Access Members – in other words, those who own a hardware device. Members are limited to six uses of the referral code per calendar year, and using this limited time referral will count towards that limit.
If you don’t know what your referral code is, the easiest way to find it is with a desktop web browser. From the three horizontal line menu at the top right, there is a “Refer Friends” link. You can also go directly to the referral page at: https://www.onepeloton.com/settings/referrals/equipment.
