Run Clubs at Peloton Studios London with Jon Hosking (July 29) & Becs Gentry (August 8)

Peloton Studios London has two run clubs coming up over the next few weeks, one with Jon Hosking on July 29 and one with Becs Gentry on August 8. Both are free.

The first is a South Asian Heritage Month community run and walk on Wednesday, July 29, led by Tread instructor Jon Hosking in partnership with Sporting Equals, a UK charity that works to promote ethnic diversity in sport and physical activity.

Peloton is asking attendees to wear their brightest colours, and there will be displays on South Asian culture and history at the studio before the group heads out. Runners will finish back at PSL for post-workout treats from Desilicious and Big Mum’s Samosas.

The route is roughly 5K, starting and ending at the studio, with a 3K walking option. Four pace groups will be available: two 5K running groups at 25 to 30 minutes and 30 to 35 minutes, a 5K walk and run group, and a 3K walking group. Doors open at 5:00pm, check-in closes at 6:25pm, and after a warm-up the group departs in waves starting at 6:30pm. Note that shower facilities will be closed for this one, though bag drop is available.

South Asian Heritage Month is a UK observance established in 2020. It now runs across the whole of July, having moved this year from its original July 18 to August 17 window.

The second is a Saturday morning run with Becs Gentry on August 8, this time alongside HOKA. Becs will lead a 5K social run through the parks of London, and HOKA will be on site with shoes available to trial during the route. Refreshments follow back at the studio.

Becs was named a HOKA Global Brand Ambassador back in February, and the event page bills her as a global HOKA ambassador.

Two pace groups are offered for this run, at 25 to 30 minutes and 30 to 35 minutes. Doors open at 9:00am, check-in closes at 9:25am, and the group departs from 9:30am after a warm-up. Showers will be open for this one.

This event comes during Becs’ London weekend teaching – as she is one of several US-based instructors spending time at PSL this summer.

A few details apply to both events:

  • Both are free, and open to Peloton members and non-members alike.
  • A confirmed registration and a signed activity waiver are required to participate.
  • Registration is one per person, so guests need to book their own spot.
  • Both take place at Peloton Studios London, 11 Floral Street, with Covent Garden the nearest Underground station. There is no parking at the venue.
  • Lockers are available for belongings.
  • Run club attendees get 20% off at the Peloton Studios London store next door, with some exclusions.
  • Both events are weather dependent and may change or be cancelled.

If you would like to attend, you can register for the July 29 run with Jon Hosking and the August 8 run with Becs Gentry via their event pages.
