What To Expect When Booking Tickets For Peloton on Tour (Tips & Tricks)

Is Peloton on Tour coming to a city near you and you’re eager to secure tickets? We’ve got you covered, thanks to tips and information shared by a Pelo Buddy reader.

As a refresher, Peloton recently announced Peloton on Tour, a five-stop tour that will visit Los Angeles, Atlanta, Chicago, Berlin, and London between July and December, 2023. The tour will debut in Los Angeles, and Peloton recently revealed the instructors, itinerary, and ticket cost. Tickets for the Los Angeles stop went on sale on Tuesday, June 13 – and sold out within a matter of minutes.

It is worth noting that Peloton has said that the number of available tickets depends on the size of the retail showroom/store in that specific location. The Los Angeles stop will be based out of the Santa Monica store, which is reportedly the smallest of the five stops. There were approximately 200 total tickets for the instructor experiences, 140 tickets for the outdoor walks, and an unspecified number for the class tapings. Unsurprisingly, there were many members who expressed their frustration that they were unable to secure tickets to any event throughout the entire weekend.

Tickets appeared on the event website (https://event.onepeloton.com/livefromlosangeles – note there will likely be a different site for each tour stop) at exactly 12:00 p.m. ET – not a minute before, and not a minute after. By 12:04 p.m. ET all of the tickets for all three days of the event were completely sold out.

However, over the next few minutes a small number of tickets became available again, particularly for the class tapings. This is likely due to other users not fully completing their purchase, perhaps because their request timed out. It is likely those tickets that popped back up after they were initially displayed as sold out. Nonetheless, by 12:10 p.m. ET all tickets were entirely sold out.

Note that there is not a waitlist the way there is for the studio booking process at Peloton Studios New York (PSNY) or Peloton Studios London (PSL) – once all tickets have been purchased, there are no further options.

Members should have all of their information at the ready when attempting to purchase tickets. Peloton asked for the following details:

  • First name
  • Last name
  • Email address
  • Peloton username/leaderboard name
  • If purchasing two tickets: name and email address of guest

From there, members will be asked to input their credit card information before their purchase can be finalized.

Also note that you have to purchase tickets to each of the days as separate transactions – thus decreasing the chances that you’ll be quick enough to be able to book tickets to multiple days or events.

If you do successfully purchase a ticket, but are not able to go, you are able to resell the ticket and Peloton will transfer it to someone else. If this is the case, you (as the purchaser) will need to email pelotonontour@onepeloton.com letting them know the name/email of who you are transferring your ticket to.

Keep in mind that similar to a recent change at PSNY, it is expected that staff at each ticketed event will be checking that your name & ID matches the name on the QR code on the ticket.

The tour next stop that will be available for tickets is Atlanta on August 17-19. Peloton will publish information about that tour stop on July 17, and tickets should go on sale on July 18 – but we will of course share updates as they become available.

Expected onsale dates for the other stops are:

  • Atlanta – July 18
  • Chicago – September 5
  • Berlin – September 18
  • London – October 31

Peloton on Tour was announced on June 6 and is serving as a replacement for the traditional Peloton Homecoming event that historically took place every springtime in New York City. Earlier this year Peloton teased that Homecoming would be formatted differently and accessible to more members, and Peloton on Tour is the new concept that will officially hit the road in July 2023.

We will share additional details about each Peloton on Tour stop as they are announced. As a reminder, Peloton plans to share a full schedule of events in each city, as well as which instructors will be attending, 31 days before each tour stop takes place.
