Update: Peloton put a fix in place around 5:10pm and most on-demand classes seem to be working again. There were still some issues connecting to live classes. The outage was around 45 minutes.
Peloton is having a major outage this afternoon, on October 21, 2022. Members report issues logging into the Peloton app, loading the on-demand library, or taking both live & on-demand classes.
This appears to be impacting all Peloton services – the app, the Peloton website, as well as classes on the Peloton Bikes, Treads, or Guide.
The issues started just before 4:30pm ET.

The initial outage update was:
We are currently investigating an issue with loading the Peloton App and classes on the Bike, Tread, and Guide.
Around 10 minutes later (4:45pm ET), Peloton posted an update saying they were still looking into the issue.
We are continuing to investigate an issue with loading the Peloton App and classes on the Bike, Tread, and Guide. Checkouts on https://www.onepeloton.com are also impacted.
Peloton rolled out a fix around 5:10pm ET
A fix for impacted Peloton services has been applied, and we are monitoring the results.
Peloton last had a major outage of this scale on August 10, 2022 – which was a 2.5 hour outage at the time.
