Peloton announced last night that all live classes being recorded from their New York Studio would temporarily be cancelled for the morning & afternoon of Thursday, December 17th, 2020 due to inclement weather in New York City. This impacts the classes previously scheduled to air starting from 6:00am ET until 12:30pm. Peloton states that they hope to resume normal production around 5:00pm ET.
The message they posted as as follows:
Members,
There will be no live classes between 6:00 AM- 12:30 PM ET tomorrow, 12/17, from Peloton Studios New York (PSNY) due to inclement weather. We expect to resume our live production schedule starting at 5:00 PM ET.
In the meantime, you can still take Encore classes, live classes streamed from our London studio, or choose from thousands of classes in our on-demand library including our new Pilates classes. Please find the updated schedule here: members.onepeloton.com/schedule
Thank you for your support and understanding.
The London studio is not impacted by this, so the premiere ride for Cliff Dwenger, the new German instructor, will still take place as scheduled at 1:30pm ET (German coaches teach and record out of the London studio).
Peloton also recently notified members that there would be no live classes from any studio on December 24 – 27, as well as December 31 – January 1st, to allow instructors and production team members to enjoy some time off for the holidays.
