Former Peloton instructor Kristin McGee has a new book releasing this week.
Titled The Treat Yourself Philosophy: A Guilt-Free Guide to Prioritizing You, the book comes out on February 24, 2026 and is available for order now.
You can find it on Amazon here (affiliate link).
The 224-page book, published by Wiley, is described as a guide for women who feel stuck, burnt out, or caught in cycles of guilt and self-sacrifice. In it, Kristin shares her approach to discovering what truly brings you joy and fulfillment, and then treating yourself to those things daily without guilt – whether that’s reading a book in the park, daily movement, a piece of chocolate cake, time with a favorite person, or quiet time for meditation.
The book is inspired by real stories from Kristin’s client transformations as well as her own personal experiences. Topics include how small acts of self-kindness can create a ripple effect of positive change, celebrating yourself and giving yourself permission to be happy now rather than waiting for “someday,” and highlighting the best parts of who you are physically, emotionally, spiritually, and mentally.
One of the book’s core concepts is creating a personal “Treat Sheet” – identifying physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional treats that bring genuine fulfillment.

This is Kristin’s third book. Her most recent was Somatic Exercises for Dummies, which came out in May 2025. Her first book, Chair Yoga: Sit, Stretch, and Strengthen Your Way to a Happier, Healthier You, was released in 2017.
Kristin left Peloton in 2024, first announcing her departure on June 17 before teaching her last live class at the end of the month. Since leaving, she has joined Tonal as a guest instructor and launched her own platform, Kristin McGee Movement. She has also hinted that she would be open to returning to Peloton as a guest instructor in the future.
The Treat Yourself Philosophy is available now on Amazon.
