Peloton also sent an email to members promoting the special class:

We’ve seen NBA athletes work out on the court—now it’s time to see them train in a whole new way. Tune in for Mikal Bridges on March 28, joining Jess Sims LIVE on Tread at Peloton Studios. Get ready, it’s go time.

This is not the first time Mikal has attended a Peloton class in-person. He attended the 2023 NBA Finals classes last June – a full body strength class with Jess, and a cycling class with Ally Love and Alex Toussaint.

This upcoming class with Jess on March 28 builds off of the announcement earlier this month that Mikal will serve as a Peloton ambassador, along with Seth Curry, Karl-Anthony Towns, and Josh Hart. Josh Hart also joined Alex Toussaint for a 20 minute “NBA 3rd Quarter Ride” on March 11.

This ride is also part of the Peloton “3rd Quarter” class series. The full class description reads:

Hit the Tread with Jess Sims and pro basketball player Mikal Bridges in this NBA 3rd Quarter class series! Get into the fitness mindset of a professional athlete and build your overall physical and mental fitness in this high-intensity run.

The partnership between Peloton and the NBA and WNBA was first announced last October. The announcement was followed by the launch of NBA League Pass on Peloton Entertainment, which also brought the feature out of the beta phase and available to all members. Peloton also sent numerous instructors to and held an event at the 2024 NBA All Star Game back in February, along with holding a contest to offer one individual a Bike+.

If you’re planning on joining the live Tread class with Jess Sims and Mikal Bridges on March 28, count yourself in via the upcoming schedule.
