Peloton has announced a special class that will include an NBA player. New York Knicks shooting guard Josh Hart will join Alex Toussiant live at Peloton Studios New York (PSNY) for a ride on Monday, March 11. Peloton shared the news via the @OnePeloton Instagram Stories as well as emails to members.
The ride is called the “NBA 3rd Quarter Ride w Josh Hart” and will take place on Monday, March 11 at 7:00pm ET. It will be a 20 minute ride and members can now opt in via the upcoming Peloton schedule.
The class was also added to the studio booking site, as it will be open to in-person members at PSNY. It became available on March 7 at 12:00pm ET along with classes on April 11-14.
This class builds on news shared earlier this week that four NBA players will serve as Peloton ambassadors. Peloton revealed the details via Instagram:
it’s go time. we’re officially welcoming our @nba ambassadors—@mikalbridges, @sdotcurry, @jhart, and @karltowns—to team Peloton. 🏀
The Peloton NBA ambasssadors include Brooklyn Nets small forward Mikal Bridges, Charlotte Hornets shooting guard Seth Curry, Minnesota TImberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns, and Josh Hart.
These developments mark the growing evolution of the partnership between Peloton and the NBA and WNBA, which was first announced last October. The announcement was followed by the launch of NBA League Pass on Peloton Entertainment, which also brought the feature out of the beta phase and available to all members. Peloton also recently sent numerous instructors to and held an event at the 2024 NBA All Star Game, along with holding a contest to offer one individual a Bike+.
