Peloton has officially announced today that Alex Toussaint will start teaching regular Tread classes, beginning November 24th, 2022.
The announcement was first made on Facebook, simply saying “AT x TREAD 11.24.22”
November 24th is Thanksgiving Day in the US, and Alex has taught Turkey Burn classes for the past several years – so it’s fitting his official premiere on the Tread will be on Thanksgiving.
Peloton has confirmed via their Instagram stories as well that Alex Toussaint will teach a live Turkey Burn Run at 9:00am ET on Thursday, November 24.
This news was teased back in September, as the Our Future Selves series was launched. It was announced that Alex would teach some Tread classes as part of that – and heavily hinted that it would be a regular thing. Comments from Peloton on social media at the time event explicitly stated “Alex Toussaint is a Tread instructor now” – although they were later deleted.
Alex is the second instructor to be announced for the Tread this month. On October 1st, Camila Ramon also joined the Tread team.
Alex will continue to teach cycling classes – this will just be a new addition for him.
He has shared over the last several months on social media all the training he has been doing on his Treadmill at home – leading people to speculate this announcement might be on the way.
