Walking Bootcamps, New Split Strength Program in Spanish, Discover Yoga Collection & More Coming in September

Peloton has teased some new programs & content that are coming later this month – and there is a lot to look forward to.

This was revealed in Peloton’s “September Workouts To Watch” email.

One highlight is that a new type of Peloton tread bootcamp class will be coming later this month! Peloton Walking Bootcamps will begin on September 17, 2024. You can expect this class format to be a low-impact bootcamp that mixes walking intervals with strength training.

Matty Maggiacomo will teach the first class. It’s not clear yet if other instructors will join Matty to teach this new class type.

While there already are Hiking Bootcamps as an alternative to traditional Tread Bootcamps with running intervals, Walking Bootcamps could be an even more low-impact option.

Next – Peloton will launch their first ever Spanish language Split Strength training program. This will be released on September 15th.

Taught by Rad Lopez, this split will be a 3-day program designed to work different muscle groups each day. There are currently several strength split training programs in English and in German. You can always find a list and details on Peloton’s training programs (including split strength) on our site here.

This split strength program will help kick off Latin and Hispanic Heritage Month, celebrated in the United States from September 15 to October 15. Peloton’s Latin and Hispanic Heritage Month Classes will begin on September 15. There is also a Latin and Hispanic Heritage Peloton class collection where you can find and take past years’ celebratory classes as well. We will share class details once Peloton Studios posts more information.

Next, a new yoga collection called “Discover Yoga” will start to become available on September 16. This will be a 9-week class collection intended to “broaden your understanding of yoga and strengthen your practice.” Each week during the 9 weeks will focus on a certain group of yoga poses.

It sounds like this class collection will be rolled out with a new class each week. Peloton’s “September Workouts to Watch” email says that Week 1 of Discover Yoga will be available on September 16. This is similar to how Ben Alldis’s Stronger You class collection was released earlier this year, with live classes occurring every 2 weeks that were ultimately all saved into a class collection.

The Discover Yoga class collection will join Peloton’s Yin Yoga, Yoga for Cross-Training, and Yoga Conditioning class collections.

Lastly, new audio-guided Scenic classes will drop on September 25. These new Scenic classes will be guided (audio-only) by various Peloton instructors. Specifically, Scenic classes available on the Bike and Tread were called out in Peloton’s “Workouts to Watch” email. At this time it does not sound like new Scenic rows are included with the September 25 class drop.

This will be the second batch of audio-guided scenic classes, with the first set being released this year. Unlike previous instructor led guided classes – where they were flown around the world and recorded on location – the instructors will just be providing narration recorded from PSL and PSNY overlaid on top of generic scenic footage.

We will also share more class details including class duration, locations, and which instructor is narrating the class as we hear more.

I absolutely love this idea of a walk bootcamp. So exciting!

I would like to know will Peloton ever bring back the video/camera feature. My group of ladies I worked out with used this to hold each accountable and to see each made it more easier and more fun. It was one of the main reason why I joined Peloton.
