Peloton Adding New Postnatal Core Classes with Robin Arzón, Peloton Trance Rides, Another 2 Hour Ride & More This Week

Peloton members can look forward to a plethora of new content this week, as revealed by the weekly “This Week at Peloton” Instagram post. This includes new postnatal content, a new music genre, a new 2 hour cycling class, and more.

First, instructor Robin Arzón has new postnatal core strength classes on the way. The post states:

Join Robin for a progressive 4-week series of postnatal core classes to help rebuild your strength. Classes drop weekly on Wednesday, starting Jan 31.

Robin teased in her recent Live DJ Ride on January 26 that she had something in the works, and this appears to be what she was referring to. It is currently unclear whether these new classes will be a new training program or dedicated collection, or simply fresh content dropping each week over the next month.

Peloton already has their Strong as a Mother Collection, which contains pre and postnatal content across multiple modalities, such as strength and yoga. You can also find an exhaustive list of Peloton prenatal classes and Peloton postnatal classes via our site.

Next, Peloton will debut their first-ever Peloton Trance rides. Trance is a music genre that is a subset of Electronic Dance Music (EDM), so these will be music-focused classes. Two Peloton Trance classes are currently scheduled, one in English and one in German:

  • 60 min. Trance Music Ride – Erik Jäger – 1/30/24 @ 12:00pm ET [German]
  • 30 min. Trance Music Ride – Charlotte Weidenbach – 2/4/24 @ 11:00am ET

In addition, Matt Wilpers will also be teaching another 120 minute Power Zone Endurance cycling class on February 3. On October 28, 2024 Matt taught the first 2 hour cycling class on the Peloton platform in recent memory, and teased that they would take place quarterly moving forward. The next ride is scheduled for this Saturday, February 3 at 7:00am ET.

There will also be a new Club Bangers Run with Alex Toussaint on January 31 at 7:00pm ET. Club Bangers is Alex’s signature series that started out on the Bike, and followed him to the Tread when he made the leap in 2022.

Finally, Peloton also plans to release new Gym content later this week. There will be four new gym plans available with Rad Lopez, Jermaine Johnson, Logan Aldridge, and Erik Jäger.

For those unfamiliar, Peloton Gym launched in May 2023 and can only be accessed via the app. Peloton Gym provides a self-guided workout – meaning that you won’t actually see the instructor. However, these workouts are programmed by the instructor, and each one contains an introduction to prepare you for the work ahead.
