Regular YouTube Added to Peloton Entertainment (How to Watch YouTube on Peloton Bike, Tread & Row)

Peloton has made a new addition to the “Peloton Entertainment” platform this morning – and added regular YouTube as an option on Peloton Entertainment.

This means you can now easily watch YouTube videos on the Peloton Bike, Tread, and Row. Previously, Peloton had added the premium YouTube TV channel as an option – but this didn’t allow watching of regular YouTube videos – only the channels that were part of the paid YouTube TV platform.

This also marks the first completely free video platform added to the Peloton Entertainment platform (outside of the “Peloton Originals” content). In announcing this addition, Peloton said:

“You asked, we listened. With YouTube on Peloton Entertainment, you can watch your favorite videos directly on your Peloton device. Plus, it’s the first no-subscription-required streaming service available on Peloton Entertainment, making it easier to watch what you love.”

This greatly simplifies one of the popular question among Peloton users – “How Do I watch YouTube on Peloton”. To watch YouTube on your Peloton device – simply navigate to the “Entertainment” tab at the bottom of your device. This will open open Peloton Entertainment. There, you will now see an option for “YouTube” (there will also be a separate one for “YouTube TV”). Simply select this “YouTube” option – and begin watching videos.

You are able to login to your YouTube account to access saved videos and see your history.

This is an expansion of Peloton’s partnership with YouTube – which started with the addition of YouTube TV in December 2023.

This is the 9th option available on Peloton Entertainment. The currently available options are: YouTube, YouTube TV, NBA League Pass, AMC+, Kindle, DirecTV, Disney+, Netflix, and Peloton Originals. Amazon Video was previously an option but removed and not added back. HBO Max was also previously available as well.

Since YouTube was added to Peloton Entertainment, this means you can also use the “Just Guidance” feature to follow a structured workout if you wish while watching YouTube – or just workout at your own pace.

As a reminder – an active “All Access” Membership is required to access any of the video streaming platforms in the Peloton Entertainment section. This means you can not cancel your monthly membership, and still access YouTube (or any of the other videos).
