Peloton’s newest device, the Peloton Row, is officially available for sale in the US (and deliveries have recently started). However, there has yet to be any mention of it for any of Peloton’s other markets: UK, Canada, Germany, and Australia.
This has led members to wonder when, or if, Peloton would be rolling out the new Peloton Rower in these other countries. It’s never a guarantee Peloton will make their products available globally – for example, the Peloton Tread is still not available in Australia, while the Peloton Guide is still not available in Germany.
However, Peloton CEO Barry McCarthy has now indicated in an email to a member that Peloton is working towards an international rollout – and specifically confirmed plans to bring the rower to the UK.
Responding to a question about timing of a UK Peloton Row rollout to member @davidjdingle, McCarthy said:
We’re in certification testing now with the rower for the UK. Timing tbd.
Certification testing with the appropriate UK government agencies would presumable be one of the final steps necessary to be able to release the product in the UK. Of course, Peloton might not release the rower in the UK the moment they had approval. If Peloton has stronger than expected demand in the US, or isn’t able to manufacture enough Peloton Row devices to keep up, they might delay launch to make sure they have enough inventory on hand to fulfill orders.
Once Peloton has an official release date for the Peloton Row in the UK and other international markets, we’ll be sure to provide an update.
